Making a Donation or Legacy
None of our work is possible without the kind support of people who benefit from our services, their families and friends, and members of the public.
There are currently three ways, outlined below, that you may like to help us:
- Make a donation
- Leave a legacy
- Nominate us as your charity to receive your tax repayments as a donation
If you would like to make a donation to help us in our work please:
- Send a cheque to The Finance Manager, Age Concern Islington, 6-9 Manor Gardens, London N7 6LA;
- Please include your name and address, as we may want to contact you to see if we can claim any tax back from the government on your kind donation;
- Or pop in with your donation – we would love to see you;
- We plan to have an online donation facility available soon. We are sorry that this is not available yet.
If you would like to leave a legacy to us in your will, we would be most grateful.
- Please specify Age Concern Islington, remembering to write in Islington if you want your legacy to come to Age Concern Islington;
- You may wish to specify your legacy as a percentage of what is left after any costs or other commitments have been met;
- Or you may wish to specify your legacy as a fixed amount of money;
- Or you may wish to specify a particular asset, such as shares in a particular company.
If you complete a tax return, you can nominate us as your charity to receive your tax repayments as a donation. Simply enter our name and our code on your tax return: ZAT03LG, and any tax repayment will be paid direct to us by HM Revenue & Customs.
However you choose to support our work, whether through a donation, a legacy, or a tax repayment, Islington’s older people will be extremely grateful.
Thank you.
